Broward County’s public schools celebrate father-child bonding with Dads Take Your Child to School Day, and Coral Springs fathers are encouraged to attend.

On Wednesday, September 22, 2021, the district is encouraging fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, foster fathers, and other male role models to get involved in the upbringing of their children.

The theme of Dads Take Your Child to School Day 2021 is #BCPSDadsMatter. Students can submit an essay or create a digital video about their father or male role model on the topic of “Thank you for being my SuperDad”. Entrants will be selected at random to win a prize and be recognized on social media. Visit here. Fathers bring your child to school day.

The initiative highlights the vital role fathers and male role models play in enhancing student educational experiences and improving student performance. Research shows that students perform better academically, have fewer discipline issues, and become more responsible adults when fathers and male role models are actively involved in their education.
