This popular Miami Halloween horror carnival returns for the first time in years

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Florida. – For those of us who want to be more scared than if someone offers us a granola bar as a Halloween candy * chill * (that’s actually pretty scary), a popular South Florida Halloween attraction is returning for the community to haunt.

The House of Horror Haunted Carnival returns to the Miami International Mall for the first time since 2018.

From September 30th through Halloween night, October 31st, those entering the carnival can explore a “vast abandoned department store that has been overhauled and claimed”.

And this year is set to be creepier and bigger than ever. For the first time since its inaugural year, Carnival features four unique haunted experiences that “you’ll regret ever stepping through the doors”.

The first experience is called “Mall Mayhem” where you will see “insane employees and demonic mannequins”. Then ticket holders can enter an infested urban jungle called the Toxic Apocalypse (but be careful not to touch anything to get poisoned).

Then those who still have the nerve can check in at the “1455 Asylum”, where “the patients monitor the delivery of nervous breakdowns”. Finally, experience the “Scare Studios” where the creepy becomes virtual.

Plus, the attraction offers unlimited carnival rides, food, and carnival games at the House of Horror halfway there.

Alcohol is available throughout Carnival for people aged 21 and over with a valid ID.
